Why Not Love Where You Live?

We have to admit we are biased, as we believe the “condo lifestyle” is a brilliant choice and even better is the pleasure of living in a Clayton condo.

Forget the traditional hassles of home ownership – raking leaves or snow removal.  Think care-free living, posh cafes, soaking up the sun, chatting up neighbors, and taking advantage of all that Clayton has to offer its residents.

Condos are desired for so many reasons including location, size, amenities, price, and limited maintenance obligations and generally “free and easy” living.

Not sure if the “condo lifestyle” is the right fit?

Only you know – based on your lifestyle, your budget and your personal preferences – if the “condo lifestyle” is right for you.

Condo Living - Pros & Cons

Pros and Cons of the “Condo Lifestyle”

Enjoyment of amenities – Condos offer some wonderful amenities that would be too costly or unavailable to residents otherwise.  Elevators, pools, doormen, community rooms, fitness centers, dog runs, and guest suites are just some of the ammenities found in the condo developments in Clayton.

Maintenance – Condo living is sometimes given the name of turn-key living or care-free living due to the limited maintenance and upkeep required of the homeowners.

Storage – Many condos in Clayton offer storage rooms or lockers, but storage is limited to your assigned area.

Outdoor spaces - Tend to be smaller than those associated with single family residences.  If entertaining outside is something you like to do, you‘ll want to take that into consideration when selecting your new condo.

Security – Many condo complexes have security, it might be 24-security with a doorman, or secured doors with keyed entry or buzzers.  You will also have the peace of mind of having neighbors close at hand.

Resale - Your property’s value and ease of sale can be affected by other units for sale in your building.  A condo association that does not run efficiently nor has adequate reserve funds to address future replacement costs and on going maintenance can have a dramatic effect on the sale of your condo.

Community – You will find a sense of community, which is very often missing from suburban living.

Noise - With close proximity of neighbors noise can be an issue.

Location - Many condos are located in prime areas that would be too expensive or not possible for single family residences.  Urban living at its best can be found throughout Clayton.
