St. Louis Housing Report - January 2017
The St. Louis real estate market had a boost in the median home price as compared to January of 2016. The median home price is up by 2% from $149,000 to $151,250.
Active listings in the MLS were down this January by 12% from 6,016 in 1/2016 to 5,294. There is currently 5.2 months of inventory down from the 5.8 months in 1/2016.
Limited inventory is continuing to affect the Days on Market. Houses are selling in an average of 122 days versus the 180 days in 1/2016.
